In a world of rapid change, young minds need the right mix of skills to thrive. Access to information is increasing, and memorizing facts is less important today than in the past. Although academic and scientific skills remain important, they are not sufficient to foster thoughtful, productive, and engaged citizens. Young minds everywhere need to develop a greater breadth of skills to evaluate and apply knowledge in ways that meet the new demands of our changing social and economic landscape.

It’s our unshakeable belief that Uttarakhand will never achieve its true growth story until the school children and the communities of the rural sector of the state are empowered to make choices and transform their own lives. With this thought, we initiated Altitudinal Academia for science with holistic vision of innovation (AASHVI) in 2019.
AASHVI is Uttarakhand based voluntary Non Profit organization which translates to life focuses on promoting innovation, science, Art and culture, in schools and communities, especially amongst children of rural areas of the state along with taking care of Mother Nature.
Our primary focus is creating experience based opportunities where science can be learnt hands on with interactive experiences that inspire innovation. In addition, AASHVI Foundation aims at sensitization and creating awareness among school students in particular and common masses, in general, about conservation of Environment, and preservation of our Scientific and cultural Heritage monuments. AASHVI Foundation strives at sensitizing young minds, creating awareness among society regarding community health related issues in the state.
